Site Introduction   S.R.S. have been supplying military badges for in excess of 20 years. We supply British Army cap badges , shako badges , glengarry badges , helmet plates , belt plates and military medals as well as other items of military interest .   We have pattern badges ranging from some of the earlier badges of the Napoleonic area , see our Waterloo 1812-1816 Shako Badges , through late Victorian times with Quilted and Last Shako Pattern badges and the pre-Cardwell reform Glengarry badges of the Regiments of Foot and on to the 20th century and the patttern badges of World War 1 and World War 2 and later. The majority of our items are illustrated , however due to the volumes we supply, pictures are deemed to be a representative sample only as we cannot photograph every single badge ( we have thousands of badges in stock at any one time ! ).   A note on badges - although we obtain supplies from many sources the overwhelming majority of our stock will be of recent manufacture which has been treated to give an aged appearance. Many badges are produced from original dies using original type materials.   If this is your first time here be sure to read the sections 'About Badges' and 'How to Order' which provide useful information.   Should you require new badges only, please visit our associated web site which operates independently and has a different range of badges as well as the facility for online ordering/payment.

As a relatively inexpensive introduction to British Military Badges we recommend Military Badge Collecting by John Gaylor if you're just starting out. For WW1 badges we recommend Military Badges of the British Empire 1914-1918 by Cox and for British Army Badges in general, Head-Dress Badges of the British Army by Kipling and King which is available in two volumes though each volume can be purchased seperately.
